Yet the symbol of Zeus’s daughters overseeing the renewal of vegetation is present in the treatment of the setting. Cappiello is not a painter of nature; this poster, along with “Porto-Fino,” is the only one to depict a natural setting. The freshness of the greens in the decor, the roses, the softness of the blue\u2014these are not the usual colors in Cappiello’s palette, but here he creates a harmony of colors and forms that masterfully illustrates the youth and vibrant energy of spring, which Pink pills provide.
