According to an advertisement in the Guide de l'Etranger à Montmartre, it had 20 departments and boasted to be the best bargain in all of Paris... but since it was just a stone's throw away from the Grands Magasins Dufayel (22 rue de Clignancourt), the competition must have been fierce! The poster reads: "Opening Saturday, March 31st, distribution of Nice bouquets to every buyer. Refund, exchange"
