1900 - 1918
The Lorraine Coal Company for Electricity, established around 1887, operated the Fabius Henrion factory in Pagny-sur-Moselle. It manufactured dynamos, electric coals, and lamps, marketed under the Osmine and Faust brands. The company later became Carbone Lorraine, and today is known as Mersen.
All these men sticking out their tongues could be a humorous response for a poster dedicated to teaching foreign languages.
