The Petit Parisien is a French daily newspaper that, in 1916, had a circulation of nearly two million copies. Judex is a novel-film by Arthur Bernède that was adapted for the screen under the title: "La nouvelle mission de Judex."
Oil is said to have beneficial properties for hair. In 1885, Geneva native Charles Jean Guillaume Hahn came up with the idea of combining it with a hair lotion, which became Pétrole Hahn. The product is now manufactured in Reims by the company Eugène Perma.
