Liqueur made from sloe brandy grown in Auvergne on the Velay mountains. It has been produced since 1860 by the Bonnet Distillery in Puy-en-Velay.
The Puget company, founded in 1857 in Marseille, began by exporting Provençal olive oil to South America. The packaging was only available in barrels or 5-liter cans. Thanks to its success, the company decided around 1930 to market it in bottles on the French market.
Today, Puget is one of the leading French olive oil brands.Pyrex glass withstands thermal shock. It has been marketed by the American company Corning Glass since 1915.
Henri Malvoisin, a wine merchant in the Vosges, diversified his sales by launching Grapp Cur in 1929, a concentrated Burgundy grape juice intended for pharmacists. He expanded the range with Quart Grapp aimed at cafes. In the 1930s, the success was such that he abandoned the wine trade.
