Between 1894 and 1937, Cusenier liqueurs were distilled in Ormans in the Doubs.

The company Isolabella & Figlio is based in Milan. Founded in 1870, it will market many aperitifs and spirits, including "Mandarinetto", a tonic aperitif, "High Life", white vermouth, and especially "Amaro", a 18-herb liqueur.
