Cheeses Maroilles made in Avesnelles in the Nord department. The sketch was initially made for the Italian cheeses Bel-Paese (See black and white photo).
In 1823, Berger produced an absinthe in Neufchâtel, Switzerland. The 1915 prohibition banned its production. In 1923, Berger converted by starting production of the first aniseed aperitif Berger in a factory in Marseille. Berger joined the Marie Brizard group in 1995.
