This poster has two variants: one highlights the product brand: Mars, the other the name of its manufacturer: Société des Verreries pour l’Éclairage (S.V.E.).
Curaçao is a triple sec, meaning an orange peel-based liqueur. It was produced by the Galland house in Vienne, Isère. These two products, curaçao and triple sec, led to two variants of the same poster.
Marsala wine produced in the Marsala region of Sicily. S.O.M. stands for Superior Old Marsala. This wine is drunk as an aperitif
