Who maintains this catalogue

This catalogue raisonné is compiled and kept up to date by Pierre Cappiello, grandson and rights holder (ayant droit) of Leonetto Cappiello. He oversees its construction, updates and consistency, entry by entry.

Method

Each entry draws on family archives, period catalogues, publisher records (notably Devambez), and public and private collections consulted over the years. The criteria used to attribute, date or distinguish a work are detailed on the Designation of Works page.

This work is ongoing: new pieces are identified, datings refined, and sources clarified as research progresses.
