Italian brand of chocolates, caramels, and biscuits created in 1924, resulting from the merger of Moriondo & Gariglio, Cioccolato Bonatti, Fabbriche Riunite Gallettine & Dora Biscuits, Michele Talmone. It was acquired by Venchi in 1930.
The "Côte d'Argent" chocolate is made by the Ackermans chocolate factory in Liège.
Ackermans was absorbed by Biscuiteries Paquot d'Ivoz-Ramet in the 1960s. Around 1974, Paquot went bankrupt and was taken over by Général Biscuit. The chocolate business was discontinued.
