The black and white photo shows that it is the company "Carburateur Standard" whose production is intended for automobiles, aviation, and motorized gardening equipment. Its headquarters are in Paris and its factory is in La Courneuve in the Paris region.

In 1899 the brand Automoto "for cycle and auto parts" was taken over by the Société Anonyme de Construction Mécanique de la Loire AUTOMOTO in Saint Etienne.
In 1907 the company was liquidated.
In 1908 the company restarted and became the Société Anonyme Nouvelle de Construction de la Loire AUTOMOTO. It abandoned the "auto" business.
