    Electric cooker by Établissements Eugène Scholtès in Lagrange-Thionville. The Scholtès brand became known by launching the first French-made enameled steel cooker in 1923. The product was an immediate success.
  • "Le Rêve" factory in Lausanne, Switzerland, began manufacturing "potager" stoves in 1905, followed by gas and then electric cookers.
  • Between 1898 and 1970, Tito Landi manufactured lanterns and lighthouses in Paris that ran on gasoline or alcohol. He also made heating appliances.
