• In 1923, this poster project for Brio featured a unicorn and a bottle (see black and white). Having failed to sell this sketch, Cappiello, in 1925, removed the bottle and left himself the option to feature any product. He would add a pack of biscuits by selling the poster for Biscotti Wamar.
  • The Italian company Wafers e affini di Marchisio & C was founded in 1922 in Turin. From a simple pastry shop, it quickly began industrial production of wafers, biscuits, and rusks, including the famous "Biscotto Salute."
  • The activity of the Dupont d'Isigny company began with the production and trade of Isigny butter. From 1894 onwards, in La Cambe in the Calvados department, it became a dairy specializing in the production of milk, butter, and cheese. In 1932, the activity diversified with the production of biscuits and the famous caramels. Today the company has stopped producing biscuits. It is now mainly dedicated to the production of its famous caramels.

  • Genoa's Palazzo Farraggiana, built around 1820, was located between the railway station and the ferry terminal. It was bought by the Società Transatlantica to enable its wealthy clientele to stay in a luxury hotel when transferring from train to ship.
    The Arab rider and his horse is probably a nod to the fantasias and North African cruises of the Società Transatlantica.
