This exhibition, open to all caricaturists and illustrators, was created by Félix Juven, director of Le Rire. Cappiello was part of the organizing artistic committee.

To boost its men's clothing sales, Printemps created the brand "Brummell" in 1930.
Brummell was a refined and very elegant man at the court of King George IV of England. He is the epitome of a dandy. This marketing campaign was particularly successful. The brand still exists today.

Aperitif made from "French wines, flavored with orange and to which quinine adds its aperitif and fortifying qualities."
