The Ibled chocolate factory was founded in 1824. In 1852 a factory was established in Mondicourt in the Pas de Calais. At the beginning of the twentieth century, the Chocorêve brand was created.
Klaus has been a chocolate confectioner since 1856 in Locle, Switzerland. In 1903, he built a second factory in Morteau, France.
