Coal. In 1931, the Compagnie des Mines de Bruay in northern France created Carbolux, a company that transforms coal into charcoal.
The black and white photo shows that it is the company "Carburateur Standard" whose production is intended for automobiles, aviation, and motorized gardening equipment. Its headquarters are in Paris and its factory is in La Courneuve in the Paris region.
