Polaire in "Le P'tit Jeune Homme," a three-act play by Willy and Luvey, performed at the Bouffes-Parisiens. Premiered on January 22, 1902, it was staged in Paris over 120 times and had numerous performances in the provinces. Its success was considerable. Colette said of Polaire in this play: "She understood everything that was nuance, subtlety, hidden meaning, and translated it delightfully."
Play by Henry Gauthier-Villars known as Willy, based on the novel by Sibylle Riquetti de Mirabeau, Countess de Martel de Janville known as Gyp, performed at the Gymnase.
Socialist daily created on May 1, 1916. In 1936, the date of the poster, it had a circulation of around 60,000. Léon Blum was its political director.
