XVIth International Exhibition of the Automobile, Cycle and Sports at the Grand Palais in Paris from October 5 to 16, 1921. The first show was launched in 1898 on the initiative of the Automobile Club de France. It still takes place today, in early October each year, under the name of Mondial de l'Automobile.
The Salon des Humoristes was conceived by Félix Juven, director of "Le Rire". This salon would merge with that of the Société des Dessinateurs Humoristes. Cappiello was part of the organizing artistic committee.
