  • A first draft was made for the Belgian beer Haecht. The drawing, after modifying the shirt, was proposed to Bières Paillette in Le Havre (see black and white photos). Finally, it was proposed to Bières du Fort-Carré in Saint-Dizier (Haute-Marne) after adapting the barrels.
  • In 1832, Thomas Naltet and his wife, née Menand, took over a distillery in Chalon-sur-Saône. He had the idea of steeping sloes in aged spirits. It was in 1842 that Prunelle Naltet was born. It was packaged in a stoneware jug from La Dheune. The success was immediate. During the war, this jug was reused as a hot water bottle. Today, the sloe liqueur is still sold in gourmet shops.
