Cabaret located at 17 rue Caumartin in Paris during the First World War and for some time after. Cadet Roussel is a bailiff's clerk (1743 - 1807) whose life inspired a very popular song in France. It humorously and lightheartedly mocks the bailiff of Auxerre.
