Oil is said to have beneficial properties for hair. In 1885, Geneva native Charles Jean Guillaume Hahn came up with the idea of combining it with a hair lotion, which became Pétrole Hahn. The product is now manufactured in Reims by the company Eugène Perma.
There is a similarity between this drawing and the sketch for "Cordial-Médoc".
