Polaire in "Le P'tit Jeune Homme," a three-act play by Willy and Luvey, performed at the Bouffes-Parisiens. Premiered on January 22, 1902, it was staged in Paris over 120 times and had numerous performances in the provinces. Its success was considerable. Colette said of Polaire in this play: "She understood everything that was nuance, subtlety, hidden meaning, and translated it delightfully."
