In 1899 the brand Automoto "for cycle and auto parts" was taken over by the Société Anonyme de Construction Mécanique de la Loire AUTOMOTO in Saint Etienne. In 1907 the company was liquidated. In 1908 it restarted and became the Société Anonyme Nouvelle de Construction de la Loire AUTOMOTO. It abandoned the "auto" business.

Brasier cars enjoyed great success before the 14/18 war. Unfortunately, after the war, Brasier was unable to make the transition from a luxury car reserved for an elite to a more democratic car. Brasier's management realised that it had to make this leap, but it was too late and Automobiles Brasier went into receivership in 1924. It was at this time and in this context that this poster project was drawn up.
