Curaçao is a triple sec, meaning an orange peel-based liqueur. It was produced by the Galland house in Vienne, Isère. These two products, curaçao and triple sec, led to two variants of the same poster.

Poster for "Jean III or The Irresistible Vocation of the Son Mondoucet," a comedy in 3 acts written and performed by Sacha Guitry in 1912. Robert de Flers tells us: "People laughed heartily with all kinds of laughter, from the wildest to the most sensible. They laughed as if life did not exist, as if they had never laughed before. Monsieur Sacha Guitry is a kind of benefactor." The Comédie-Royale is a Parisian theater founded in 1901, dedicated to humor and boulevard plays. In 1923, it permanently took the name Comédie-Caumartin.
Fish preserves produced under the Gargantua brand by the Compagnie Lorientaise de Chalutage à Vapeur in Lorient. This poster specifically concerns hake in brine. A variant of this poster deals with hake, monkfish, gurnard, and fish soup.
