In 1906 France had many student associations. The merging of these associations into a single one took place in Lille in May 1907. It was named UNEF: National Union of French Student Associations. The UNEF only dealt with French matters. International issues were referred to the International Congress held in September 1907 in Bordeaux, where national associations from various countries participated. In student circles, studious congresses are accompanied by many festive moments.

la Littorale was founded in 1895 in Béziers from an oenology laboratory set up by the Swiss Hubert. It specializes in fertilizers and chemicals for vineyard treatment.
The bottles depicted resemble Florio wine bottles from Sicily.
