The mining and metallurgical company Peñarroya is a French company founded in 1881. Initially established in Spain at the Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo site, it expanded into many countries by specializing in non-ferrous metals. The poster concerns the superphosphates and fertilizers marketed by the company.
Huard Company (1863-1987) located in Châteaubriant in Loire-Atlantique manufactured agricultural equipment. In 1913, the company had about 140 employees at its Châteaubriant site and an annual production of 5,000 plows and 540 seed drills for animal traction. At that time, the company was the leading producer of plows on the French market.
