Huard Company (1863-1987) located in Châteaubriant in Loire-Atlantique manufactured agricultural equipment. In 1913, the company had about 140 employees at its Châteaubriant site and an annual production of 5,000 plows and 540 seed drills for animal traction. At that time, the company was the leading producer of plows on the French market.
